Please remember Lake Are Ministries with your continued support during the summer months. The children are out of school and the need for food items are in great demand. Paper grocery bags and baby items are also needed. You may take your items to the LAM office or bring them to the church office.

ELDER MEETING

The regular monthly meeting of the Elder Board will meet on Monday, May 23 at 7 p.m. All elders are encouraged to attend this meeting.

MEMORIAL DAY SUNDAY SERVICE

We would like to invite all members of the military, scouts, and other uniformed public service groups to wear their uniforms next Sunday, May 29, to honor those of our Armed Services, who have gone before us.

CHURCH ANNIVERSARY

We will be celebrating our 38th church anniversary on Sunday, June 5. Our guest speaker will be Dr. Paul Alford. Please join us as we celebrate this anniversary with our guests and a covered dish dinner.

MISSION SUNDAY

On June 12, we welcome guest missionaries, John and Lisa Sappia. They will be sharing some of their missionary experiences. Please be sure and join us for this special service.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL

Mark your calendar for our Vacation Bible School . It will be held July 11-15 between 6:30-8:00 pm. More information to follow.

ALLIANCE WOMEN NATIONAL PROJECT

The Alliance Women will be collecting the donation cans through the month of May for their National project. All checks can be made out to Friendship Bible with “Alliance Women’s National project” in the memo line. Please help with this project as the Lord leads you.
