Walking in the truth means…
— to live According to God’s commands (Ps. 1)
— to live In his ways (Josh. 22:5),
— like taking a walk in the old well-worn paths (Jer. 6:16)
— to live As taught by God (1 Ki. 8:36; Is. 2:3; 30:21)
— to live Uprightly (Prov. 2:7)
— to live In his statutes and judgments (Ezek. 37:24)
— to live In newness of life (Rom. 6:4)
— to live in the Spirit of God, not the flesh (Gal. 5:16)
— to live Honestly (Rom. 13:13)
— to live by faith, not by sight (2 Cor. 5:7)
— to live In love, following Jesus (Eph. 5:2)
— to live Worthy of the Lord (Col. 1:10)
— to live In Christ (Col. 2:6)
— to live By the gospel (Phil. 3:16)
— to live In the light, as God is in the light (1 Jn. 1:7)

If you are able to help, we would appreciate items donated to restock. This not only includes new or gently used items for the children but also items older siblings and parents would like since the children enjoy shopping for them. Thank you for your help!

FAITH PROMISE

The Faith Promise is a financial commitment of giving to the Great Commission Fund (GCF) that you believe God will enable you to fulfill. The “faith” part comes from relying on God to provide for the “promise” you believe He is calling you to make. A Faith Promise commitment should not be entered into without much prayer and reflection. Consider the commitment as a process where you look back at God’s faithfulness to you and your family during the past year. The idea here is not faith to get from God but faith to give back to Him. Please place your Faith Promise card in the offering plate today.

It has been a tough year economically for a lot of people and LAM has surpassed all previous records. As of the end of November 2009, we have served 4,396 families. This was an increase of 628 families over the same period in 2008. We were also able to give each family a grocery gift card to help with the purchase of a Thanksgiving dinner. In December we also were able to share some stocking stuffer items because of the tremendous support we received. Thanks to each of you who give to help those in need. May God bless you during this New Year.
