Opportunity Knocking..

Two-thousand seven seems to be flying by..... Our Awana Fair was a big success. Everyone had a great time and lots of fun!

A Lake Area Minitries (LAM) Representative will be speaking to the congregation and telling us about ministry opportunities soon. There is a need for an adult volunteer to represent our church at LAM. This would be from 10am-until 2pm on the second Thursday of each month. Who to contact is posted in the church bulletin each week. Also, volunteers are needed to pick up bread at Harvey's grocery one day a week. Substitutes are also needed for occassional bread pick up. Contact Joan Vaughn at 473-7007 if you can help.

Please continue to pray for the family and mom who was recently was in a serious car accident. Her daughter attends Friendship Christian Academy.

Have you checked out the church courtyard lately? It seems the trustees are working hard to beautify the church grounds. Be sure you don't pass up thanking them..

Did you know the church has a website? You can visit it at : www.fbcma.org

The church Christmas program and party will be December 16th. The dinner with follow the morning services. Please bring a covered dish to share. I am sure you will enjoy this wonderful musical program our music director has planned.

First Week of July

Preparations to this year's VBS are in full swing. You can contact Jacqui Coleman or Tammie Hull if you'd like to help or be a part of this outreach ministry to the community.

During this morning's service the Youth were prayed over who will be attending Life next week.

July 4th there will be a church wide picnic at the recreation field. All are invited. Bring enough food to share with your family and others.

This upcoming Saturday we have a unique date appearing on our calendar. 07-07-07. Pastor Coleman and his wife will be on vacation but will be spending time in prayer. He invites you to take some time out for the Lord on this date, the number seven is a Biblical number of perfection, representing God. Several events are happening around the country on this date. Take some time and meditate on the Lord and see what He will be saying to you on this interesting day in history.

Pray for the Youth at life this week.
Pray for Pastor Coleman & Lynn as they are on vacation.
Pray for the church and the many ministries that are moving forward this week.

And don't forget to vist our new verse of the week. Click here

What's happening today

The Youth are having a carwash today. There's painting going on at the church as it receives a much needed facelift. And finally additional work is continuing in the storage area that a few ladies cleaned earlier this week. Additional shelves for better order are being put up.

Tomorrow is worship and we're looking forward to it. Come on and visit if you're in the area.

Welcome

Hi all,

Today we're starting a blog for Friendship Bible Church.

In the news today, we had a group of women come to the church to help organize and clean the area around the baptistry. In all churches there are places where items get placed and never really put away. We want to thank these women for the initative and hard work to put order in this area of our church.

Tonight our Youth group meets as they plan and prepare for Life '07. Don't forget the carwash this Saturday as the last fund raiser for the kids going to this great Youth event.

Our mid week prayer and Bible service will be meeting as usual.

Have a great day in the Lord.
