CROSSOVER/YOUTH

The youth will also begin the new season on Wednesday, August 22 at 6:15 P.M. All youth in grades 7-12 are encourage to join this youth group.

AWANA BEGINS

As summer ends and school begins, so does our Awana program. Wednesday, August 22 at 6:30 P.M. will be the first meeting. Awana is for the children ages 3 thru grade 6. Parents are encouraged to bring your child and invite your neighbors and friends to come and enjoy this new season for Awana.

AMERICAN HERITAGE GIRLS

The first official meeting of the AHG will be on Thursday, August 23 at 6:45 P.M. For more information on this group, please see Jacqui Coleman.

SUNDAY SCHOOL TEACHERS NEEDED

We still need teachers for our children’s classes. Please contract Brian York about volunteering in this much needed area. Thank you!!!

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

We need volunteers to make coffee for Sunday mornings. We would need you to be able to arrive around 8:45AM. Please see David or Jodi Geiger.

MEMORIAL SERVICE

The Memorial Service for David and Audrey Coleman, will be held on Saturday, August 11, 2012 at 11:00 AM in the sanctuary of Friendship Bible Church. Our love, prayers, and sympathy are extended to Pastor and Lynn, Jonathan and Jacqui Coleman, Sarah and Will Buttermore, and other family members and many friends. We will miss David and Audrey very much, but have assurance that they are in the presence of their Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We will see them again some sweet day.

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD

Little items such as glue sticks, scissors, markers, etc. are currently on sale in stores. This is a good opportunity to begin packing a shoe box for Operation Christmas Child.
