SUNDAY SCHOOL TEACHERS NEEDED

We are in need of a teacher for our preschool children, ages 3 and 4 years old. Also, for our kindergarten through 2nd grade, ages 5, 6, and 7 years old. Please prayfully consider volunteering for one of these positions. Then speak to our Sunday School Superintendent, Rev.Brian York, and let him know if God is leading you in this direction. CHURCH ANNIVERSARY

Friendship Bible will be celebrating the 39th anniversary on June 3. Our guest speaker will be Rev. Craig Hofer from the First Alliance Church in Orlando, Florida. There will be no Sunday School and no evening service. A covered dish lunch to follow the morning service. Please bring your favorite dishes with enough to share with guests.

CHURCH WORK DAY

A work day has been scheduled for Saturday, June 9. Our trustees will be giving more information soon so that you can plan how to help in this workday.

ATTENION ELDERS/DEACONS

There will be a combined meeting of the Elders and Deacons on Monday, May 21 at 7:00 p.m. Please make plans to attend this meeting.

AWANA NEEDS DONATIONS OF ITEMS

Any donations of items, new or gently used, would be appreciated for the Awana Store. Examples: boy and girl toys, small gift items, books, stuffed animals, school supplies, etc. We need them before the Awana Fair which is being held on Wednesday, May 23rd at 6:30PM. CONCERT ON THE GRASS

Come enjoy a night of music featuring the worship teams of Community Church, Eden Baptist Church, Keystone United Methodist and Friendship Bible Church. Friday, May 25th from 7-9 p.m., 1155 Orchid Ave. (across from Friendship Bible Church), Keystone Heights. A love offering will be taken to benefit “Answers”, a locally supported ministry to young women and families. Bring your own chair or blanket. Bring the kids!!

Ladies, mark your calendar for Saturday, May 19th at 2:00PM. Alicia Parramore and Jordyn Miller are giving a Baby Shower for Shanon White who is due in June with baby boy, Andrew. She is registered at Amazon.com and Target. Please come!

ALLIANCE MEN’S DESSERT COMPETITION

The Alliance Men are having a “Who Makes the Best Dessert” contest on Sunday, May 20 at 6:00PM. All Mother’s are invited to come, eat the desserts and judge which is best. Please come, this is going to be fun!

PICTURES NEEDED

We need pictures of any of our church family to use or copy for our 39th Homecoming Anniversary which will be on Sunday, June 3rd. Old, not so old, new, and current pictures needed to put in albums or posters for our Homecoming Celebration. Give to any Deaconess or drop by church office. Thank you!
